What Customers Say About Duets: An American Classic:

Tony still has it and his duets partners were on top of ther voice. It doesn't get any better

A great CD to put you in a upbeat or relaxing mood depending on the song. Worth every penny. As a new fan of Tony Bennett, I have to say he is talented in his music. Also great collaboration with other well known artists.

I would recommend this CD to anyone that likes classic music. Love it. I am surprised at so many negative reviews. I actually had it played at my wedding as a surprise to them. Bennett. I especially liked KD Lang. I guess it is a matter of taste. This music is from my parents generation and this song was there song.

I didn't give this 5 stars because I don't really care for some of the other artists. What a beautiful voice. I have had Tony Bennett Duets for a while now and listen to it often. I may not care for every song, but I do love many of them especially "It Had to be You". I think it is a help to the other artists to sing with Mr.

Mostly, from song to song, I hear Tony Bennett in a class by himself. I sense they're having fun, if not a bit taken aback out of decades of respect for their elders. And they sound, overall, like visitors into Tony's world. I appreciate his guests adding their colors and personalities and styles.

But it's still fun and endearing imagining all those stars converging to pay homage to this almost Regular Joe American with the staying power of on point pipes so practiced, so perfectly at home. I don't mean to be mean. But his ease and solid delivery sort of keep him in his own realm while others swim around not quite getting there. Top names, many songs I'm familiar with. Seemed worth a listen. He's the standard of those standards. It's like Tony's already in, already eons comfortable with the material, and humbly inviting people to come join him.

I just keep hearing Tony BEING there, and others not quite being there. I picked this one up from the library. He has an uncanny, easy confidence, a founding signature for that kind of signature song. He swims like a dolphin in familiar waves doing all kinds of effortless tricks of light and sound, and he's generous to give the spotlight to his new friends.

i love this CD.and I love to play it for cocktail and dinner parties. ITs easy to listen to.
